EXECUTIVE TEAM
Quint Davis
CEO
Quint Davis is the CEO of Festival Productions Inc.–New Orleans and the producer and director of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, one of the world’s great festivals. For more than 50 years, his efforts have been instrumental in the growth of Jazz Fest to international prominence and his vision guides the development and production of every FPI-NO project.
Starting in 1970, Davis worked closely with George Wein, the impresario who has produced thousands of events since 1954, including the seminal Newport Jazz Festival and the Newport Folk Festival, to present countless festivals, tours and special events. Since 2004 he has led FPI-NO’s highly successful partnership with AEG Presents.
In addition to Jazz Fest, Davis’s career highlights include: two Presidential inaugurations (1993 and 1997); the creation of the Essence Music Festival, including 13 years as the event’s producer (1995-2007); special events for the NBA and NFL, including Super Bowl Boulevard (2013); and a series of stadium-style country music festivals (2009-2018)–including Bayou Country Superfest at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, Buckeye Country Superfest at the Horseshoe at Ohio State University in Columbus, OH, and Country 500 at Daytona International Speedway.
With more than five decades’ experience, Davis, along with his company, has demonstrated a commitment to fashioning some of the most original, meaningful, enduring, and unforgettable special events in the entertainment industry.
